Chad Miller

Chad Miller is a “credit union lifer” and currently serves as the President/CEO at Southwest Louisiana in Lake Charles, LA as well as the owner of CU Evolve. Chad has worked his entire career in credit unions, serving in various roles since 2014. He has continued his personal development by earning his MBA from the University of Louisiana-Monroe as well as several credit union designations, including those in Financial Counseling, Compliance, and Executive Management. At Southwest Louisiana Credit Union, his passion for community development for community development and developing innovative loan products and services has led to SWLACU being awarded $4 million in CDFI grant funding over the past 4 years. Chad leads by cooperative principles and believes that the love for the members and community should drive Credit Union strategy.

Chad started CU Evolve in late 2022 as credit unions and credit union professionals requested his services for career development and assistance in developing innovative loan programs. Always passionate about investing in others, he launched Evolve U Academy that engages credit union professionals in thought-provoking discussions with like-minded colleagues and industry experts about credit union hot topics, operational strategies, and finances to give them the knowledge necessary to become a leader at their institutions.
